When considering any type of anti-wrinkle injections, it is important to understand the difference between the two different types of facial wrinkles — dynamic and static — as each one should be treated differently.
Dynamic wrinkles develop from repetitive muscle movements and facial expressions, such as smiling, frowning, and squinting. Over time, these repetitive movements lead to the formation of lines and wrinkles in the forehead, between eyebrows (glabellar lines), and around the eyes (crow's feet)
Static wrinkles, on the other hand, are wrinkles that are present even when the face is at rest and muscles are not actively engaged. These wrinkles are a result of a combination of factors, including the natural aging process, loss of collagen production and skin elasticity, and the effects of external factors like sun exposure and smoking. Over time the muscles become weaker causing the skin to become thinner and drier, and the silhouette of the face will change due to volume loss.

- Before applying the Botox Injection, your medical history will be taken and a clinical examination will be carried out by a doctor to assess the suitability of the treatment according to the condition of your face, in combination with the desired result.
- If the treatment is deemed unsuitable for you after the examination, you pay to the doctor the cost of the consultation, which is just £35 (instead of £100)

The treated area should be left alone for at least 48 hours, post treatment to let it settle. We advise that you do not have facial or similar treatment that may disturb the products or expose the area to strong sunlight for 2-3 days.

- You should decide to proceed with the treatment, the dermal filler will be gently injected into the specified areas of your skin to reduce the depth of the skin crease/ plump the lips as required. The number of injections and exact depth is bespoke to each individual.
- Results being visible immediately.
Results vary depending on the area treated and client’s lifestyle – a top up after the first session may be required.
